The candidate will work on the multidisciplinary topic of designing appropriate formulations for non-viral gene delivery, and will have the opportunity to interact with various experts (e.g. formulations, bioanalytics, molecular biology) across the Sanofi network. The candidate will have the opportunity to present at scientific forums both internally and externally, and publish novel findings from the studies. The current position is contracted for a period of 24 months with competitive pay and benefits. It also provides for a great opportunity that can be converted into a full-time position at the end of the tenure, subject to the performance of the candidate.

·  Design, develop and execute studies to formulate targeted and non-targeted LNPs for delivery of different nucleic acid modalities
·  Perform biophysical and in-vitro characterization of LNPs to understand the mechanism of action and stability of LNPs under different stress conditions
·  Publish at least two (2) scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals
·  Should be self-motivated and able to work closely and independently with counterparts within the team and from other functional areas in a collaborative manner
