About the job

The Sanofi People Analytics is an innovative, dynamic and international team with a mission to democratise people data and insights across the enterprise and drive a cultural shift towards evidence-based people decision-making at all levels of the organisation. We are looking for a motivated and open to learning intern to join our data science team in 2024.

Key responsibilities

· 
Supporting the activities of the People Analytics data science team: preparing and cleaning the data, working on data visualisations and dashboards, participating in developing econometric and ML models and delivering production-ready solutions

· 
Participating in the design of impact evaluations, experiments and data collection strategies

· 
Supporting other members of the People Analytics team with ad-hoc requests

· 
Helping to disseminate the research conducted by the data science team (blog posts, internal newsletters, webinars)

· 
Some examples of advanced insights produced by the team: understanding drivers behind employee engagement; forecasting attrition rate; organizational network analysis; processing unstructured data (e.g. topic modelling, sentiment analysis); causal analysis of talent management and employee development programs, etc.

About you

Requirements

· 
Ongoing university studies (ideally, in a Master’s program in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, economics, organizational psychology, data science or a related discipline with a strong quantitative focus)

· 
Familiarity and some experience with core data science languages (such as Python and R)

· 
Understanding of statistical concepts and theoretical foundations of AI/ML

· 
Fluency in English (written and spoken)

· 
Interest in people analytics and working with people data

· 
Ready to work at least 25 hours/week

· 
Nice to have: hands-on experience working with complex datasets, cleaning and visualizing data, building models, collaborating on GitHub/GitLab; knowledge of and some experience with Power BI

· 
Highlight in what we offer: mentorship, trainings, potential synergies with working on a Master's thesis
