Our Team:

We're looking for a dynamic leader to steer our local pain brands, Icy Hot & Aspercreme. As a brand-led expert, you'll blend science and technology to drive growth and collaborate closely with commercial leaders to prioritize our Consumer Health Care (CHC) portfolio. Your role is pivotal in aligning with our enterprise goal of empowering consumers with health solutions.

Join our team to shape an innovative R&D pipeline based on consumer insights. You'll be crucial in defining strategies that leverage science and technology to ensure brand success.

As a Global Brand Strategist, you'll craft comprehensive plans (1 – 5 years) for a successful market rollout. Collaborating with the development center, you'll create development plans based on internal and external capabilities, ensuring future market needs are met.

Your role extends to close collaboration with regulatory and medical leads to support our brands' success in the market and with healthcare professionals.

In another aspect, you'll implement a forward-thinking approach for Icy Hot & Aspercreme , staying ahead of global trends and health authorities. This includes prioritizing sustainability aligned with CHC strategy.

Bring your innovative touch to R&D, integrating consumer insights and defining patent strategies. In partnership with project management, you'll ensure projects progress seamlessly and on schedule.

Main responsibilities:

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES

·  Drive R&D pipeline delivery for assigned brands ( Icy Hot & Aspercreme ), meeting innovation sales targets aligned with growth strategy and ensuring cross-brand consistency and best practices.
·  Oversee short, medium, and long-term R&D projects, incorporating claims, NPD, clinicals, and sustainable packaging innovations.
·  Lead fewer, larger innovation projects in collaboration with the growth hub, leveraging consumer insights.
·  Develop a patent pipeline for global brands, grounded in distinctive science, with close collaboration with the global IPM for on-time execution.
·  Foster strong cross-functional teamwork to ensure seamless delivery of the innovation pipeline.
·  Prioritize and identify base business protection projects for assigned global brands based on risk assessment.
·  Utilize an extensive external technology network to deliver and expedite differentiated technology opportunities.

About you

Experience

·  Accomplished business leader skilled in translating consumer insights into brand-led pipelines.
·  R&D experience with a proven track record in brand delivery.
·  Identify and allocate necessary roles/resources for successful project delivery.
·  Ensure brand-specific risk discussions and implement mitigation plans.
·  Develop integrated plans and budgets for all innovation programs within the category/region.
·  Responsible for delivering a sustainable innovation pipeline.
·  Establish, identify, and leverage external partnerships, suppliers, providers, key opinion leaders, etc., influencing innovation for global brands.
·  Advise key stakeholders and the leadership team on industry trends and new opportunities within the category/region.
·  End-to-end accountability, alongside Project Managers, from ideation to the launch of the innovative pipeline.
·  Assign science partners to program Core Team roles, monitor fit, offer feedback for enhancement, and reassign roles as needed for optimal fit. Key coach to Technical Program.
·  Innovations scope includes BD opportunities, NPD, impactful claims requiring clinicals, novel ingredients, formulation technologies, and sustainable solutions.

Education

·  Degree in Science or Higher degree (Ph.D.) or relevant Academic qualification is desirable

Languages

·  Fluent spoken and written English
·  An additional language is a plus
