Mass Spectrometry Scientist, responsible in the design, conduct, and interpretation of MS experiments (tissue MS/biomarker identification/validation) within the DMPK Metabolism/tMSI section

Responsibilities

·  Design, conduct, interpret MS experiments to better understand the mechanisms of drug/-metabolite and biomarker tissue disposition
·  Identifying/Validation of  new biomarkers contributing in pharmacological and toxicological evaluation
·  Contribute to the continual development of new MS techniques for small molecules, for biopharmaceuticals, and for endogenous metabolites

Requirements

·  Ph.D. or Master degree in Mass Spectrometry, Biochemistry or related field with a minimum of 2-5 years related experience with Master, or 0-2 years with Ph.D.
·  Evidence of experience in MS technique and ultra-high resolution MS instrumentation
·  Pioneering in search of new biomarker and its quantitation by LC-MS
·  Custom to bioinformatic software tools
·  Expertise in biochemistry, "omics” science (metabolomics, lipidomics, proteomics, etc.),
·  Expertise in Histology/Pathology of rodents
·  Able to work effectively in within a multi-disciplinary team including other members of lmaging group, DMPK, pharmacology, toxicology, histopathology and chemistry
·  DMPK knowledge, particular in drug metabolism
·  Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills, Contribution to scientific publications, Fluent in spoken and written English
