Job description

JOB PURPOSE
Assisting Lean and Performance manager improving overall performance through Industrial Performance improving activities, Lean Programs, Methods, Benchmarking activities, Performance Mindset change and so on.
·  Will execute the tactical Lean plan of activates for the site
·  Supports the deployment of Lean methodology by being specialized in Lean tools and techniques
·  Collaborate with the Sanofi Lean Network within corporate operations and with other site based Lean teams
·  Supports the on-going development of a continuous improvement culture

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIE

1 Industrial Performance

·  Improve processes, coordinate and drive initiatives to develop, implement and sustain cost reduction improvement, in reference to Sanofi Quality and HSE standards.
·  Analyze organizational fit and impulse innovative organizational changes at Site level for production and Support Departments. Propose evolutions to reach the best transversal processes across the site.
·  Make sure that appropriate performance follow-up tools, TOP, GLP, SMP and so on, are implemented and consolidated in reference to corporate standards or to site requirements.
·  Manage the follow-up of the score card / monthly report and performance KPIs, analyze and ensure coordination of action plans regarding major deviations on TRS/OEE, Productivity, Plant Cycle Time, Yields.
·  Increase performance of site equipment through improvement of existing and / or new design of production means, i.e. monitor the market place to identify new suppliers and equipment innovation.

2 Lean Programs

·  Coordinate the means and resources requirement for the optimization of the site performance.
·  Promote IA Lean Program at all site levels.
·  Cascade locally IA Lean Program based on the plants challenges and priorities (workshops, training).
·  Lead the Lean Committee.
·  Ensure the follow-up of the performance results and adapt action plans accordingly.
·  Coach and support the Performance Leaders and Team Members.
·  Play an active role in the inter-site lean network.

3 Methods

·  Manage the standardization processes (e.g. blisters, boxes, leaflets,…), based on technical data.
·  Analyze discrepancies between standards and actuals and suggest appropriate action plans and follow-up database in collaboration with Controlling.

4 Prospective Capacity Analysis

·  Participate site capacity analysis for LRP/LTIP and budget preparations, in collaboration with the other functions.

5 Benchmarking

·  Build a network internally and externally to organize benchmark studies related to the best practices in our industry or close to our industry.
·  Make proposals to implement the best practices at site level.
·  Participate actively to the Company benchmark studies (e.g. Rainbow, Pobos, …..)

6 Performance Mindset

·  Promote a performance mindset at all site levels through Lean events, standardization and simplification initiatives, collaborators priorities setting up and review, recognition system, learning organization,…

7 Complete other jobs from direct manager, department and the company.

REQUIREMENTS

·  Bachelor degree in Engineering/Science with lean six sigma certification desirable
·  At least 2 years' experience in a similar role, facilitating the implementation of lean tools and techniques in a lean /business excellence context, preferably in the pharma manufacturing industry
·  Good understanding of business process(production, inventory control, cost analysis, finance, human resources) in a GMP environment
·  Strong experience in facilitation, CI, change management and /or project management with an alternative function
·  Influencing peer group and above on a site basis
·  Demonstrated time management & planning skills
·  High level of competency in all forms of communication both in English and Mandarin.
·  Demonstrated project management skills
