Job Summary

The Key Account Category Manager is part of the key account teams and is responsible for executing category specific Point of sales in partnership with the retailers. Category Manager must identify opportunities that deliver category and customer growth through fact-based recommendations. They assess trends, analyze shipment data, wholesaler data, and shopper data and syndicated/point of sale data to identify key customer insights that lead to opportunities for growth for Sanofi and Retailers. They are also responsible for engaging with the category managers and buyers from the retailers and executing mutually beneficial category strategies and joint business plans for their specific categories.

Job Responsibilities

Meets or exceeds assigned sales forecast objective for your categories and retailers.

Achieves distribution, pricing, promotion and shelving objectives within the defined categories

Execute joint business plans with the customers and support the retailers in managing and driving the category consumption and growth.

Provide category and shopper focused insights to the retailers to drive the category planogram leading to mutually beneficial growth opportunities.

Engage and collaborate with Category and Shopper insights team, Brand managers & Supply chain managers to generate category specific insights that are relevant for the retailers.

Customer Centricity: Supports the key account managers in negotiating business plans at customer business planning sessions that achieves customer and Sanofi CHC business unit's short and long-term volume and profit goals while conforming to Sanofi CHC policies. These plans should ensure customer performance at or above standards in all key merchandising areas: Distribution, Pricing, Shelf and Promotion.

Customer Centricity: Ensure communication of category specific customer needs across the organization. Leads, organizes and facilitates both internal and external teams to meet customer's needs & develop conceptual presentations drawing from all internal and external resources needed

Customer Promise: Integrates Sanofi CHC customer promise in its day to day interactions i.e. Sustainable and profitable growth, Pragmatic, actionable and shopper centric proposals, driving the category growth and communicating honestly and fairly with our customers.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

· 3 - 5 years' experience working for a pharma/biotech company, FDA or other relevant experience

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
