Job description
Reporting into the Head of HR Sanofi Pasteur US, the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will provide strategic and operational Human Resources support to several Swiftwater, PA-based client groups within the Sanofi Pasteur U.S. Industrial Affairs organization. The HRBP will establish solid relationships with Industrial Affairs functional client groups and provide HR support in the following areas: performance management, employee relations, policy interpretation, talent development and succession planning, compensation consultation, and employee engagement. This HRBP will be based in our Swiftwater, PA site.
As part of the Sanofi Pasteur U.S. HR team, the HR Business Partner will develop and deliver solutions to support her/his client groups and collaborate, as needed, with other HR team members and Sanofi HR Centers of Excellence. The person in this role will be highly responsive and should have solid business acumen and operational excellence focus with a proven ability to align client needs with HR solutions in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of HR practices and procedures and demonstrated experience with Talent Management, Employee Relations and Organizational Development.
Qualified candidates will embody and effectively demonstrate the Sanofi LEAD behavioral competencies of cooperating transversally, acting for change, and developing people. The HRBP must also be able to relate well to all levels of the organization and will have a demonstrated track record of effectively influencing and coaching leaders. The HRBP must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of drive and urgency, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously. In addition, excellent reasoning, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, effective project management skills and organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, listening and presentation) are required. The HRBP should also be able to demonstrate interpersonal awareness to effectively build and sustain strong client partnerships with trust and credibility.
Basic Qualifications:
· A Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of HR Business Partner experience, or a Master's degree in HR management and three years HR Business Partner experience
· Site manufacturing environment HR experience or experience working in a regulated environment.
· Solid working knowledge of core areas of HR including HR policies, processes and systems.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to convey critical and sensitive information in a highly professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in a mid-size to large global company in a highly matrixed environment strongly preferred.
· Prior employee relations, talent management, and organizational development experience required.
· Workforce planning experience preferred.
· State and federal employment law knowledge required.
· HR systems (Workday) and Excel experience strongly preferred.
