Global Production & Reporting Business Process Owner (Director)

Sanofi is on a journey for all Functions, Global Business Units, and our sites to improve performance and transform into fully digital: paperless processes in all operations, capturing and leveraging accurate transactional and master data, using Sanofi Core Model processes, and changing the user experience from shopfloor to management.

The role of the Global Production and Reporting Business Process Owner is to drive Industrial performance to achieve the Company, Function, Global Business Unit and site’s Strategy and Ambition in Production Execution and lead the Reporting and Analytics effort of all Plan-to-Manufacture (Manufacture & Supply) Domains.

Business Process Owner brings a high level of expertise and leadership in Production Business Processes and Reporting in digital solutions, transformation, and change management. Business Process Owner collaborates with all the other functions and domains Business Process Owners to create, maintain and update the Company Operating Model Playbook, and the detailed business processes for all ERP systems like SAP ECC and S4 HANA.

The specific focus is on Production Business Processes, Master Data, System Usage, Reports, Analytics, documentation, trainings, upskilling, and support of these focus areas in all projects, like the current S4 HANA Transition and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) roll-out.

The Reporting and Analytics responsibility includes coordinating the Reports in all domains in Plan-to-Manufacture, harmonization of reports, system usage indicators, key performance indicators and analytics in all Sanofi ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, e.g. SAP) systems.

The Global Production and Reporting Business Process Owner has a core role for the coordination of the Site resources (Global and Site Process Stewards, Key Users, etc.) for Production Business Processes, Production data integrity and quality, value realization and continuous improvement of the solution. He/she ensures cross-domain collaboration, and alignment between Production and all other functions and domains. He/she owns the Production process adherence, system utilization adherence and master data quality results for the whole Company and works with all levels to improve results.

He/She is a change actor for the design and integration of new developments, functionality, harmonization, standardization of all business processes whether in a system, or not, globally for Production in Manufacturing & Supply.

Responsibilities and Tasks :

The Production and Reporting Business Process Owner is an on-going global role:

·  Animation of Global Corporate, Global Business Unit and Site resources in Production functions (e.g. Global and Site Process Stewards, Key Users, etc.)

·  Accountability for global Cross-Domain Alignment between Production and all other Plan-to-Manufacture domains (Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, Quality, Controlling, etc.)

·  Final approval of new developments, improvements, changes in Production business processes and related system tools.

·  Leading global priorities with all levels for value realization, simplification, and continuous improvement in Production domain.

·  Collaboration with Controlling to ensure participation of Global Business Units and Sites in required Control Self Assessments (CSAs) for Production function

·  Design, Maintenance and update of all Plan-to-Manufacture domains Core Model Maturity Assessments, System Usage Indicators, Reports, Analytics and relevant dashboards.

He/she will own the harmonized process, data, and system adoption globally for Production Domain:

·  Data Quality and Process Adherence at target for production domains master data and processes

·  Own the upskilling process, training documents and make sure that new practices are properly adopted globally

·  Provide on-going strategic support to all levels and sites

·  Provide support for cross-domain, cross-functional decision making when changing/implementing business processes

·  Own the “User Requirements Specifications” and coordinate Pilot User Acceptance Tests and regression tests for new releases, critical master data updates and ensure training guide updates

·  Ensure the creation, maintenance and updates of global SOPs related to Production processes.

·  Lead and animate the network/community of practice for Production (Global and Site Process Stewards, Key Users, etc.)

·  Lead global audit readiness for Core Models and Data in his/her responsibility

Education and Experience:

·  University degree in engineering, IT/Digital or a related field

·  Minimum ten years shopfloor experience in Manufacturing and related manufacturing systems, especially MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and ERP (SAP, S4 HANA, etc.) preferably in pharmaceuticals

·  Proven improvement results in business processes, master data quality, process adherence and system usage

·  Competence for reporting and analytics tools and working knowledge of the systems: MES (Manufacturing Execution System), SAP ECC, S4 HANA and others (fast-learner of new tools and software)

·  Field knowledge in manufacturing/production process, data, organization, competencies, equipment, and tools

·  Proven leadership and management skills in matrix environments

·  Track record of change management and improvements
