Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Industrial Excellence and Strategy, the Global Product Industrial Leader Flu is accountable to create and deliver the product industrial strategy to achieve the company franchise ambition of Flu.

Long term strategy

· 
Elaborate, recommend, get endorsement and lead the long term (4-15 years) M&S strategy for the products & projects of the franchise (and readjust it if needed according to the performance of its execution) thanks to his multifunctional and multi-sites network/knowledge (manufacturing, MSAT, QC, quality assurance, finance, supply, R&D, CMO, RA, risk management…)

· 
Propose the project portfolio and be instrumental for the prioritization process of this Project portfolio

Industrial launch

· 
Lead the industrial launch of the new products (particularly when the launch is multi-sites)

· 
Build and secure ambitious Time To Market for flu by coordinating all teams and levers.

Performance assessment

· 
Lead the improvement of the Gross margin value and rate for the product range (short / middle / long term) through the performance assessment (compliance, supply, cost, project execution) and the management of the multifunctional Industrial Product group (quality product leader, supply chain product leader, analytical product leader, CMC product leader, project leaders, RA Franchise, Site Operational Unit leaders, business analyst)

Lead the franchise convergence planners and check the global execution of the Convergence Plans in order to ensure a structured life cycle management approach

M&S representative

· 
Represent and defend interest of M&S during meeting with authorities (WHO,…)

· 
Be a member or the Leader of a Crisis Team, when the issue is impacting the future of the product / portfolio or Sanofi Vaccine or partner’s image

· 
Report to an oversight and transversal Steering Committee to get endorsement on recommended options and to provide a transversal and complete vision on the existing & future products of its portfolio

· 
Represents M&S perspective within the Franchise and specific strategic programs and represents the Franchise within M&S for its strategic dimension

Scope and Dimensions:

· 
Worldwide, multi-sites and functions, more than 3b€ sales exposure

· 
IPL supervise 5-10 Industrial Product Managers (IPMs) and convergence planners

· 
IPL network is built on multi-functional / multi-sites participants (e.g. ~100 persons).

· 
Have a full vision of the life-cycle of its products from research to marketing with a strong focus on M&S, a complete knowledge of the activities performed by all IA departments and sites including the short to LT industrial challenges.

· 
Freedom to act, level of autonomy: high

About You

· 
Experience : Crisp understanding of vaccines industrial requirements (ideally Flu) and commercial universe. Economics & financial knowledge & expertise. Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining cooperative partnerships at both local and international levels. Exposure to cross sites & cross GBUs networking, authorities (WHO, CBER...)

Soft skills : Disrupts the status quo while remaining pragmatic and focus on priorities. Able to lead & animate networks, teams, experts - Strong communication skills. Strong leadership skills to engage direct team as well as manage multiple/transversal teams. Persuasion / bringing other together to gain consensus and reach global optimum. Strong capabilities on stakeholder management to drive decision making process. Complex problem solving / Judgment & decision making / Critical thinking. Result oriented. Business acumen

· 
Technical skills : Transversal experience ideally in Site Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/ or technical transfer, global projects

· 
Education: Master's degree in engineering or pharmacist

· 
Languages : Fluent in English.
