Our Team and Context :  

As competition in the consumer healthcare market intensifies, driven by the emergence of vocal new global players, there is a noticeable shift away from the traditional "big pharma" space. Simultaneously, Sanofi announced in October '23 its intention to separate by creating a publicly listed entity headquartered in France, expected to be realized in the earliest Q4 '24. In light of these developments, we are in search of a dynamic and visionary Strategy Lead to join the CHC strategy team. The role involves building and refining the growth story, turning it into a tangible reality, and shaping the business in close collaboration with regions, key markets, and key functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's global communications strategy to drive an effective and differentiated Consumer Healthcare (CHC) growth narrative. This narrative will strongly support our business goals and enhance the external profile of CHC compared to other consumer healthcare companies. The primary aim is to build effective storytelling that resonates with various key external stakeholders, including investors and the business community. Additionally, this role will support non-marketing brand communications and other cross-functional topics for CHC.

Main responsibilities:

In alignment with Group corporate communications, Group media relations, Group Investor Relations, and in partnership with CHC communications & public affairs teams:

· 
Develop the global communications strategy and implement related communication plans, including: the development of our unique CHC growth story, value positioning towards investors and business media, content for internal and external communication channels, press releases, speeches, presentations for senior CHC executives to an investor/business audience.

· 
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders from business media, and investors.

· 
Provide strategic counsel to senior executives on communication issues and opportunities related to financial and strategic business activities of CHC which includes but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, divestments, CHC GBU business branding and positioning to investors, and business media.

· 
Manage the communications of Sanofi CHC GBU EVP head & selected members of the CHC leadership team, supporting both division’s business objectives and Group communication ambition.
This includes identification of communication opportunities & effective stakeholder engagement with partners or business media at country or global level.

· 
Ensure internal & external consistent communications, developing stakeholder understanding and awareness of Sanofi positions/perspective (ie, supporting policy-shaping, narratives on self care, sustainability, Employee Value proposition, etc.)

· 
Lead Crisis Communications

· 
Oversee the strategic direction, execution, and results of outside communications agencies

Experience : Your career is marked by robust experience in corporate communication , particularly within the headquarters of a listed company . Your track record reflects a history of successfully navigating the complexities and high stakes associated with leading communication efforts at the heart of publicly traded organizations. This depth of experience positions you as a seasoned professional with a profound understanding of the strategic intricacies unique to the headquarters of a listed company.

Expertise : With a focus on executive roles in corporate communication, you have honed your skills in aligning communication strategies with the dynamic needs of listed companies. Your expertise extends to Investor Relations, financial communication, and financial storytelling , particularly within the fast-paced realm of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. Your ability to resonate with the investor community , ideally coupled with hands-on experience in an IPO context, serves as a testament to your proficiency in navigating the complexities of corporate evolution.

Skills: Your leadership style is marked by high energy, spark, and dynamism, showcasing an entrepreneurial spirit that adds a transformative dimension to your role. Your strategic and tactical thinking capabilities, especially in branding and business storytelling , are complemented by a keen understanding of the cultural shifts inherent in mergers and acquisitions. You excel in managing and leading teams within the international matrix environment, fostering collaboration and achieving success collectively.

Soft Skills: Your adeptness in networking and communication is foundational, and your ability to drive change in diverse cultural settings is a defining attribute. Your business acumen is complemented by creativity, allowing you to craft narratives that captivate both internal and external stakeholders.
