Finance Business Partner, UK and Ireland – Sanofi Consumer Healthcare

Based Thames Valley Park, Reading, Berkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the CHC finance team to be the Finance Business Partner for UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Act as a business partner to the CHC BU and support stakeholders in strategic decision-making process with your sound judgment, finance expertise and Business acumen
·  Support region CHC Finance team with projects & analysis
·  Monitor, drive and report the business performance (P&L and other KPIs) in coordination with the Head of Finance CHC North & South Europe Zone, the GM, Marketing, Commercial, CMI, Innovation and IA and Supply Chain Teams
·  Lead the financial processes in actual and forecast/budget periods with the CHC BU
·  Challenge Business assumptions and ensure consistency of the forecasts from a finance standpoint
·  Monitor against forecasts and identify risks and opportunities
·  Analyze and provide financial input on Pricing and other Trade topics
·  Support the Innovation process with financial analysis on future products launches
·  Align business strategies and volume forecasts with Supply Chain/ R&D, and ensure consistency of information and data
·  Monitor Stock in Trade, COGS, returns and destructions in coordination with the Head of Finance CHC North & South Europe Zone, Commercial operations, Trade, and IA/Supply Chain
·  Carry responsibility for efficient cost allocation and optimization by providing financial input on Return on Investments
·  Monitor and understand DSO evolution and provide recommendations for improvement
·  Share and implement finance best practices and focus on simplification
·  Lead ad hoc projects (Divestment projects, System upgrades, Digital, E-commerce)
·  Ensure a comprehensive compliance with all internal control and financial/accounting principles within your perimeter and contribute to maintain Business Leaders' integrated view of finance topics

About You:

To excel in this role, you will need to have:

·  Minimum 4 years in Finance Controlling, preferably in multinational environment (Pharma or FMCG experience is a plus)
·  Academic degree in Finance/Accounting
·  Fluent in English
·  Experience with Finance systems, notably TM1, HFM, SAP and BW
·  Business acumen
·  Analytical skills
·  Ability to communicate in a clear & concise way, strong presentation skills
·  Demonstrates a high level of passion, energy, focus and ambition
·  Ability to navigate through complexity and process information and data
·  Autonomy, time management and sense of urgency
