Our Team

Our team is engaged in designing, delivering and supporting Digital Tech Services for all CHC worldwide.

We deliver our solutions in a highly competitive market answering FMCH needs and sometimes supporting regulated environments (GxP, SoX and other regional or local regulations).

Our team operates in an international context, serving all markets in most of the countries around the world.

Digital Tech encompasses following capabilities: Integration, Enterprise Architecture, Operations, Cloud engineering, Platform Engineering (e.g. DevOps & related framework), Enabling Platforms (ServiceNow, Observability, Chatbots, RPA, …), Digital Workplace and more “classical” infrastructures (hosting, network, servers, …).

With this “Facility Operations Management Lead” position part of Operations team, you will oversee all Real Estate / Facility Management topics (new building creation, change in an existing building, …) and translate them into Digital activities you will execute in a project mode.

Main responsibilities 

The Facility Operations Management Lead is a project manager, with strong expertise in local facility projects and a deep knowledge of associated Digital eco-system (infrastructures, workplace services, resident applications, BMS, security solutions, …). They will:

Standards & inventory

·  Drive a portfolio of facility topics (scope, planning & budget), in relation with Real Estate, Facility Management and Security (physical) teams, focusing on standardization, reusability and with an objective to streamline the approaches
·  Build & maintain an accurate cartography and inventory of all CHC sites worldwide (manufacturing & corporate / commercial building)
·  Develop & communicate a “PlayBook” to execute all facilities projects following the same standard
·  Ensure adherence to global standards (Tech & Applications) and drive by exceptions as needed with global Digital teams. Closely work with Local Infrastructure Expert, who will provide local infrastructure services patterns
·  Define, maintain & communicate standardized “Facility services” patterns, based on our standards and having in mind reliability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, agility, scalability and reusability

Facility Project

·  With the support of external resources when required, execute local Facility projects in alignment with local/global Business and Digital teams
·  Supported by experts for execution, take the full Digital lead of these projects and act as as a unique point of contact to deliver all Digital aspects (infrastructure, workplace services, building application, resident application, corporate application, …)
·  Ensure delivery on time, scope & budget and communicate regularly to Business stakeholder (steerco, management committees, …)

Quality & Compliance

·  Ensure proper compliance with Sanofi, CHC rules, policies, standards and applicable regulations (GxP, SOx, …)
·  Ensure consistency of our referential (i.e. ServiceNow CMDB) vs. the reality on sites

Communication, adoption & education

·  Partner with all internal and external stakeholders (Business, Digital, global/Regional, Quality, Industrial, etc.) to communicate roadmaps and anticipate efforts from their teams
·  Create a close relationship with local infrastructure expert in our team to combine efforts on designing patterns and executing projects

About you 

Technical background required

·  Multi-year experience in facility management projects for Digital activities. A recognized professional with various proven experiences in international context across global organizations
·  Experience and knowledge in facility eco-system (infrastructures, workplace services, building application, security application, resident applications, corporate application, …) and their specificities
·  Strong understanding of Information Technologies (including cloud, network…), architecture, etc.
·  Strong project management skillset and ability to lead teams (technical or functional) with proven experience in managing them in an international & remote context.

Soft skills required

·  Proven experience leading and developing a high-performing global virtual project team
·  Ability to lead and tech ownership even in unclear situations. Contribute to clear the unclear
·  Ability to provide innovative leadership and thinking to global and cross-functional teams
·  Strong capacity to manage activities across web meetings and collaborative solutions
·  Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to talk to Business and adapt “tech” language to this audience
·  Ability to work in an international matrix environment
·  Curious, open-minded, « out of the box » thinking
·  Agile and continuous improvement mindset, with critical-thinking and root-cause-analysis paradigms
·  Fluent in English
