·  Fight climate change: build the road to carbon neutrality by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2045 by engaging Sanofi towards the 1.5°C global warming trajectory

Main responsibilities

·  Achieve Sanofi’s Eco-design ambitions
·  Ensure all new products will follow an Eco-design approach by 2025
·  Ensure top marketed products will follow an Eco-design approach by 2030

·  Lead Eco-design activities
·  Execute Eco-design roadmap
·  Manage & execute LCA (Life cycle Assessment) for pharmaceutical products in collaboration with external LCA advisors and internal LCA projects stakeholders
·  Supervise & check quality of product LCA executed by external support
·  Coordinate execution of levers to reduce environmental footprint of our products
·  Engage externally within working groups or groups of interest (e.g. PEG, LCI, EFPIA, SMI, etc.)

·  Support digital roadmap
·  Support the development, implementation & upgrade of Eco-design tools
·  Play a proactive role to provide insights for innovative environmental digital solutions

·  Change Management
·  Manage and engage the key internal stakeholders (e.g. R&D, IA, GBUs, Marketing, Communication, CSR, Global Engineering, HSE) as well as the external stakeholders (e.g. eco-design expert communities, authorities, hospitals) and consultants. Provide support, awareness, and technical training to stakeholders
·  Ensure/engage internal stakeholders to develop actions plans following product LCAs results
·  Coordinate production of responsible, clear transparent product environmental claims, internal & external communication (videos, pools, etc.) in line with Global Business Units (GBU), CSR, Communication, aligned with global standards & guidelines (e.g. ISO Environmental Product Declarations)
·  Co-Build & coordinate Eco-design training session for internal employees’ environmental upskill and knowledge development
·  Leverage collective intelligence & coordinate global Eco-design communities to make sure they remain up to date in terms of best practices (regular upgrades, support when turnover of key SMEs, etc.)
·  Make sure all stakeholders (M&S, R&D and GBUs, related Eco-design teams, Circular Economy) are capable of achieving the Eco-design program
·  Raise alerts to his/her upper management & support his/her management to execute strategy & decisions to Global entities and sites and ensures appropriate mitigation with business resources, schedule of activities, etc.
·  Lead all activities necessary to facilitate compromise and decisions, ensures full engagement of manufacturing sites
·  Ensures requirements and solutions design meet a common business process, applicable internal and external quality standards

·  Actor of Planet Care
·  Support “Planet Care Impact”, “EcoPharmaco Stewardship” and “Environmental Remediation & Compliance and Risk” groups to reduce Sanofi environmental impact by integrating Eco-design principles into our product design and technology transfer processes

Experience

·  Must have: Product Eco-design execution, Life cycle assessment (LCA)
·  Nice to have: Pharmaceutical industry, Chemistry, Biologics

Hard skills

·  LCA softwares (e.g. SimaPro, Activity Browser, etc.)
