Job description

Role purpose:

Responsible for design the strategic Trade Marketing plan for channel assigned, aligning the categories, launches and client typology to achieve the growth objectives established. Provide superior customer management aligning business strategies by channel.

Key responsibilities:

1)Channel Strategy – Independent Pharmacy, Allery & Milk brands

·  Define the strategy and plan for the Channel to unlock sustainable, profitable growth (considering new products, promotions, packaging, category management, shopper initiatives, pricing etc ) and ensure we compete strongly in the channel assigned
·  Lead process of channel and customer budget definition. Ensuring correct investment and plans aligned to growth potential by customer.
·  Anticipated channel risks and opportunities for growth
·  Define and negotiate trade activities / visibility and projects by customer, in partnership with One Commercial.
·  Analyze channel performance and work on adjusting its strategy if necessary.
·  Manage trade investments to ensure correct budget allocation, usage and maximize ROI.
·  Approve agreements and activities
·  Control proof of trade investments.
·  Detail commercial policy usage strategy.
·  Focal Point for Commercial (Sell In) team by channel.
·  Responsible for approving brand, training and strategy communication for Sell In team (for CHC).
·  Strong alignment with the sales team in terms of strategy and commercial developments to achieve sales targets.
·  Represent One Commercial and provide input to the monthly forecasting process at great accuracy
·  Deploy / Inform trade strategy for PoS team.
·  Find new opportunities of business / channel development.
·  Tracking of the Sell In by brand identifying opportunities of Sell in and handling of inventories in the clients.
·  Be part of the target allocation process aligned with the target of the unit
·  Participation in the demand plan process defining building blocks according to Trade plans in each channel and category.

2) Category Activation at PoS

·  Translate category marketing objectives into trade execution strategy and plan (Brand Execution Excellence, Account Standard (DGMPE).
·  Be an active member to shape the Category and Brand strategies in partnership with Marketing on the category assigned
·  Assure and coordinate all Category/brand plans execution in other channels.
·  Organize category activation activities at PoS considering marketing priorities across all channels.
·  Lead PoS Material process – idea to execution – with input from marketing.
·  Define mix assortment considering each category/channel.
·  Define KPIs to ensure trade category performance (Execution).
·  Define periodic offer strategies, which contribute both, to the placement and rotation of the brands (supply design, monitoring and supply planning).
·  Control and tracking of offers by category and by client in order to ensure their execution in POS and Sell Out

Job Holder requirements:

At least 3 years in Trade Marketing.

Prior working experience in FMCG / OTC Healthcare or high regulated industries.

In-depth knowledge of modern trade and multi-channel experience preferred.

Strong Financial Analysis skills required.

Can turn Analysis into compelling commercial strategies.

Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a \'hands on\' style.
