About the opportunity
The Digital Product Owner for CMO Medical is accountable for the definition, design, delivery, evolution and ongoing operation of the products and services supporting CMO Medical business within the company. This includes digital platforms and solutions designed to support CMO Medical capabilities around Medical programs, study operations, scientific communications and dashboard & reporting.
About growing with us – in this role you will collaborate with the CMO and GBU Medical business leads to deliver the identified product / service, using the good understanding of business processes and medical related technologies, to help global business stakeholders achieving their desired outcomes.
Strong collaboration and understanding across stakeholders will be critical to ensure the support to the needs of relevant cross-functional business partners in an efficient manner. The candidate must be solution-oriented, operationally savvy, creative, highly organized, flexible, and adept at managing multiple matrix teams, including external vendors. The position will report to DevCMO Strategy & Excellence Service Line Manager and is based in Budapest, Hungary.
The following key activities will be performed by this role:
· Accountable for the development, communication, and execution of the product strategy and roadmap, collaborating with global and local business partners and other functional and product / service teams
· Lead the agile project / product team and external vendor(s) to deliver the product. Define user stories and agile iterations. Build and prioritize the backlog, and manage the dependencies with identified stakeholders
· Ensure that application architecture consistency between related functions, align to enterprise architecture, and leverage opportunities for common approaches.
· Responsible for release management through the hypercare phase
· Lead and implement product governance to ensure compliant and efficient execution.
· Accountable for the quality of the product at optimized costs
· Supervise and execute continuous improvement cycles per enhancement requirements to meet and increase user satisfaction in alignment with the service / product line strategy.
· Co-lead the change management with business partners to ensure excellent adoption of the product
· Be Responsible for the Value Creation and the financial performance of the operations (cost drivers, unit costs, etc.)
· Ensure the right sourcing model (internal and/or external parties) to secure delivery
· Ensure that the product meets all controls to address applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements
· Ensure service delivery performance according to targets (SLA, OLA)
· Collaborates with business product leads and Service Line Manager on defining KPI and value proposition and act according to impacts (Continue, Adjust or stop)
About you
Education and Work Experience Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in computing, computer science, or related technical discipline
· Experienced in complex solution implementation in agile.
· Experience in supporting a global solution or an IT product
· Knowledge of Agile practices, UX/UI, and Application Design & Integration
· Familiarity with Project Management Tools (JIRA, Confluence)
· Experience managing external vendors.
· Working knowledge of the regulatory environment.
· Demonstrated strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
· Demonstrated conflict resolution & problem-solving skills in a global environment
· Knowledge of Medical Affairs working with regulated environments a plus
· Experience or Technical skills in Cloud (Google and AWS), Data integration & BI (Informatica, Tableau, Power BI) a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
· Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a matrix team
· Strong leadership and analytical skills to lead and influence teams without direct authority
· Highly self-directed; proactively and independently work issues and manage projects with minimal directions
· Capacity to collaborate transversally in a fast-paced environment and multicultural international setting
· Attitude towards continuous growth and improvement
· Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities
· Transparent, excellent written and verbal communication in English
· Medical activity support or other bio-pharmaceutical experience is a plus
