ABOUT THE JOB
Our Team
We are the Organizational Capabilities & Transformation (OC&T) team, one of the teams that compose the Digital Transformation team in Sanofi Digital. We made the bold decision to treat “Transformation” as a product and deliver it in the most Agile possible way. This implies in a lot of learning, pivoting, experimenting. This product has several features such as “learning”, “culture change”, “change management”, etc.
To continue our journey of modernizing Sanofi, the Digital Transformation team is looking for an Org Modernization Lead. This person will integrate our Org Modernization POD and interface with the other Digital Transformation team members, but also with senior Digital stakeholders.
The team is structured for Agile delivery and counts on 3 PODs (Product-Oriented Delivery teams), each one with its own Product Owner. Your impact would go way beyond this team and we are all One Team with one mission: transform the overall Digital organization (2.4K people) and enable to halve the time from discovery to therapy.
Main responsibilities
In a typical work routine, you would
· Lead capability planning efforts, including the coordination of a large number of stakeholders to ensure Digital is acquiring the capabilities necessary to deliver its Strategic Plan
· Support organizational design initiatives from strategy to execution, collaborating closely with senior leadership to optimize our organizational structure and enhance efficiency
· Work closely with senior leadership to determine location and skills strategy for the Digital Function, considering factors such as talent availability, market trends, and business objectives
· Anticipate future of work and skill trends, conducting research and analysis to inform decision-making and ensure readiness for emerging challenges and opportunities
· Support the design and implementation of optimizations in the Digital operating model, leveraging best practices and innovative approaches to drive continuous improvement
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of modernization initiatives with other organizational priorities and initiatives
· Develop and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of modernization efforts, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership
ABOUT YOU
· Experience: Experience being a people leader and delivering in agile. Experience with teams under transformation and demonstrated ability to deliver tangible outcomes
· Soft skills: Collaborative, active listener who welcomes new ideas and embraces different perspectives; Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network and build strong working relationships globally. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Technical skills: Experience leading Capability Planning or Strategic Workforce Planning exercises, Strong understanding of organizational design principles and methodologies; Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform decision-making and strategy development. Experience with Agile is a plus
· Languages: Fluent English verbal and written skills. Fluency in or good working knowledge of French (written and spoken) is desired
