Customer Engagement Head – North Cluster
Sanofi is currently inviting applications for the role of Customer Engagement Head North Cluster - GenMed.
About this Opportunity
The main purpose of the Cluster Engagement Head is to lead the customer engagement team in the North Cluster in order to ensure the quality of the customer engagement plans, defining the long-term strategy to achieve excellence in multichannel activities and customer engagement and to take the necessary steps to move up in terms of multichannel and digital maturity in the North Cluster, in strong collaboration with the ITS, Business Support teams and Marketing. This includes leading customer profiling and identifying which channels to use/activate to engage with the right customers to drive value. In addition the Cluster Engagement Head contributes to the short to long-term objectives of GenMed in the North Cluster and acts as part of the GenMed leadership team.
The successful candidate needs to be based within the cluster but can be based in any of the countries that are part of it. This role will require extensive travelling.

The North Cluster represents 9 countries (Benelux and Nordics and Baltics).
The main responsibilities of the Customer Engagement Head North Cluster – GenMed include:
· Develop the business strategy with respect to proceeding of business engagements, plan execution, and personnel management for optimum target utilization.
· Collaborate in defining the marketing strategy with the Marketing Head for the Cluster and translate the strategy in customer journeys in order to engage GenMed customers. Be the key interface with the Cluster Marketing and Commercial Heads for the cross-functional alignment.
· Define the priorities in terms of channel development in the North Cluster
· Promote the expansion of the best tools and technology in the Cluster
· Attend the various GenMed leadership team meetings and contribute both as the Head of Customer Engagement in the Cluster and more generally as a member of the leadership team to the key strategic decisions.
· In collaboration with European team, contribute to providing feedback to continuously improve IS platforms and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
· Conduct all the duties as manager for the customer engagement team in the North Cluster (setting priorities, conducting reviews, providing direction and support, ensuring communication of important topics to team members, structuring the team and its work… as well as all the administrative processes).
The essential criteria for the Customer Engagement Head North Cluster – GenMed are:
· University degree (medical field would be an advantage), preferably an additional education in Business Management or Marketing field
· Minimum of 3-5 years experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry or marketing field, in an international environment.
· People management experience
· “Yes we can do” mentality.
· Courage.
· Strong leadership ability in order to lead the change.
· English language knowledge and skills (written and oral).
