Job description

[Job Purpose]

Contribute to attract, motivate, engage and retain the talent to the company through development and design of the effective and efficient compensation and benefit programs aligned with the Business and HR strategy.

[Organization Context]

Report to JPAC C&B Lead with solid line and Country Head of HR with dotted line

[Key Accountabilities]

1. C&B Policy / Program

- Review and develop the compensation and/or benefit program/policy: cost-effectiveness, market-competitiveness, and consistency of compensation and/or benefits programs with the business unit’s overall strategic plans and objectives.

- Introduce the global compensation and/or benefit program/policy to local

- Coordinate and/or conduct the preparation and implementation of communication and educational programs and materials: Global grading, Salary structure, IVR, Compensation review cycle, ESPP, etc.

2. C&B Planning

- Conduct salary surveys and market competitiveness analysis

- Propose C&B strategies and plans based on market analysis

- Provide market trends and suggestions for management decisions: salary increase budget planning, wage negotiation, labor cost budgeting, new programs launching on top of existing program improvement, etc.

3. C&B projects

- Participate and/or take initiative the Global/region/local projects: Global grading, Salary structure, HRIS, Corporate benefits(Insurance, ESPP, etc.), etc.

- Deliver and coordinate the project management among Global, region and local

- Lead change management as country project leader

4. C&B operation & others

- Propose compensation pricing: hiring, promotion, job change, adjustment, etc.

- Review payroll data and payment process: monthly salary, retirement pension(DC), bonus/ incentive, cafeteria, OT, unused leave allowance, child school tuition, social security insurance, award, etc.

- Manage payroll outsourcing agency

- Review and supervising of implement local benefit programs operation: annual leave, holiday present, employee community, congratulation & condolences, medical check-up, long-service reward, Group-term insurance, etc.

- Monthly/Annual financial closing related labor cost

- Supervising administration and maintenance of employee records for compensation and benefits: Workday, payroll system, local HRIS(e-HR), etc.

- Provide the C&B data upon HR and other function/team’s requests

- Review and consult standard job catalogue/position title, global grading in Workday

- Conduct the global mobility employee’s pricing, rebilling, tax report data preparation and co-work with global/region GM team

- Correspond to internal & external audits and set up SOPs

[Requirements and Qualifications]

1. Education background

-Bachelor’s degree above in Business or equivalent major is preferred

2. Experience & knowledge

- More than 10 years of experience in C&B function

- Experience of payroll outsourcing, market analysis, and market survey is mandatory

- Experience of designing/reviewing job grading and salary structure is mandatory

- Experience and achievement in any global HR project is mandatory but C&B projects is preferred

- Experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred

- Experience in unionized company is preferred

- Knowledge of Korean Labor Law
