Job description

Role Purpose – BD Manager leads the In-Licensing process, starting with the identification of potential businesses, leads negotiation and close deals with different third parties existent or in the preferred Sanofi's list.

BD Manager contributes with Business Units and Innovation Strategy in an implementation of a long-term plan, based on incremental innovation and new opportunities for Gx and EP Bus Colombia and Peru, maximizing top line growth as well as bottom line profitability by means of partnerships.

Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for scouting, evaluating, structuring and closing partnerships with the aim to complement and rationalize the group's portfolio, maximizing top line growth as well as bottom line profitability of GX and EP Bus for Colombia and Peru, following BD Latam governance when applied.
·  Manage partnership agreements, promoting proper alignment of the areas involved; predict and control risks; monitoring contractual obligations, such as shopping and minimum sales amounts allocated in promotional grids, inventory plan, regulatory changes, additions and re-discussion of contractual terms according to the business needs.
·  Contribute with Business Units and Innovation Strategy in an implementation of a long-term plan, based on incremental innovation and new opportunities for the local market, maximizing top line growth as well as bottom line profitability by means of partnerships.

Desired Experience & Competences

·  5+ years in Business Development experience is a must.
·  3+ years experience in the design of new models negotiation, Business cases building, feasibility evaluation, strategic portfolio building.
·  Previous experience in Project management, working in Cross functional teams.
·  Pharmaceutical Industry experience is desirable.
·  Confident negotiator.
·  Strategic and innovative thinking, Business and customer oriented.
·  Technical & scientific knowledge, Teamwork and transversal collaboration.
·  Strong analytical skills: possess the ability to proactively analyze problems, identify key issues and bring tactical solutions.
·  Strong communication, ability to stablish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and partners. Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
