Business Analyst - VIE Contract (W/M)

Job description

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

Therefore, only applications that are submitted in English will be considered.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:

Business Analyst - VIE Contract (W/M)

Key responsibilities:

Sales Support:

·  Market analysis for key API's (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) & Customers (PARC – Sanofi tool/IMS – Information Medical Statistics tools)
·  Pharma Compass Analysis as needed
·  Assist with monthly reporting for key API's
·  Commercial call plan & prospection
·  LEAP (CRM - Customer Relationship Management for SAIS) updates
·  Other projects as they arise

Month End Close/Reporting:

·  Review sales and reconcile ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) with TM1 (sales & gross margin monitoring tool)
·  Assist with new ERP implementation (SHIFT)
·  Book month end postings (sales accruals, capitalized variances, prepare manual invoices)
·  Run inventory aging report to determine if reserve is necessary
·  Prepare monthly sales reporting (dashboard, consolidated file, database, freight and travel)

Forecasting/Budgeting:

·  Prepare input file for new forecast scenarios and upload outcome in TM1 tool
·  Participate in team reviews for budget, LRP (Long Range Plan)
·  Assess impact on yearly landing of sales of risks and opportunities identified during monthly forecast meetings
·  Prepare detailed presentations for business review with upper management
·  Assist with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) submission for P&L (Profit and Loss)

Annual Tasks:

·  Assist with sales prices and transfer prices update (preparation of templates, maintain price table, integrate into forecasting files)
·  Transfer price calculation & standard cost update

Candidate's profile:

·  Education: Master degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting or related field
·  Experience: at least 1 year of experience in a similar work environment (preferred: Business Analysis or Controlling); previous sales forecasting and reporting experience a plus
·  Soft skills: detail-oriented and able to manage priorities; ability to work in team environment
·  IT tools: good knowledge of MS Office package (incl. Excel and PowerPoint); experience in financial systems (e.g. TM1, HFM, SAP) appreciated
·  Languages: fluent English
