ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST

BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA

In this Role
 

You will have the chance to ensure the correct accounts payable postings and finance impact, applying tax treatments, policies and procedures according to the legal requirement and corporate guidelines established.

Under SBS organization, the person will join to P2P COPAC (Colombia, Perú, Panamá and Central America) structure, working in Account Payable team.

Main Responsibilities:

·  Complete accounts payable postings (including invoices), understanding general ledger impact and qualify auditing.
·  Assure tax treatments, policies and procedures are applied during the invoice and account payable processing.
·  GRIR reconciliation and P2P tasks.
·  Overdue account payable clearing.
·  Prepares Payment proposal analysis.
·  Prepares vendors and credit card reconciliations.
·  Support end month activities required.
·  Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records impacted in P2P tasks.
·  General ledger and subledger reconciliation related to account payable activities.
·  Analyze and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and unposted invoices.
·  Receives, researches, and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
·  Provides support in projects implementations.

Your competencies : To succeed in the role, we require candidates to have

       Education:  BA in Accounting

       Experience & knowledge:  To succeed in the role, we require candidates to have:

·  3+ years heavy volume full-charged accounts payable experience.
·  Experience in SAP (FI and MM).
·  Advanced Excel knowledge.
·  Finance analysis skills
·  Knowledge of standard accounts payable policies, local taxation law, procedures, and regulations.
·  Good level of reading, spoken and written English
