About the job
Our Team:
In this exciting position as Accountant in the Hungarian local A2R Team, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
To be successful in this position, you need to have accuracy, systematic approach and be attentive to details, combined with a focus on communication and problem solving.
Main responsibilities:
· Perform general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department
· Prepare periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
· Maintain the general ledger
· Set up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books
· Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
· Perform other related duties as assigned
About you
Experience:
· 1+ years of experience in Accounting or similar position
Soft skills:
· Accuracy, precision, thoroughness
· Good analytical skills
· Good organizational skills
· System approach
· Self-confident way of work
Technical skills:
· Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
· Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
· User level computer skills; MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook
· Knowledge of SAP is a plus
· Knowledge of IFRS is a plus
Education:
· Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
Languages:
· Fluent English knowledge; Hungarian is a must
