Are you ready to contribute to ambitious projects and create a positive impact in the aerospace industry? At Safran, you'll work with the brightest minds and best technologies, building valuable experience and joining an innovative, supportive team.

We are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets. Our expertise cover the entire life cycle of our products from end-to-end: design, manufacturing, maintenance and repair.

Why Work at Safran? Your Wellbeing & Benefits:

Looking after the people who make Safran great is our priority. We offer a range of benefits designed to support you—both in and out of work, including:

• Early finish on Fridays (where applicable)

• Competitive salary and annual bonus

• 25 days' holiday + bank holidays (option to buy/sell)

• Flexible working options

• Pension (matched up to 8%) and life assurance

• Professional development, ongoing training, mentoring

• Onsite amenities: parking, restaurant, bicycle storage, showers

• Family-friendly and accessible workplace policies

About the Opportunity:

In this hands‑on role, you'll be an essential part of our operations—managing the end‑to‑end flow of oils, chemicals, and tooling that keep production running smoothly. From receiving and issuing stock to maintaining safe and compliant storage areas, you'll ensure that everything is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. Working closely with both internal teams and external partners, you'll support efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.

What you'll be doing

• Manage stock through SAP systems, including cycle counts, LEV checks, and accurate record keeping.

• Oversee tooling supply, calibration, allocation, and documentation.

• Uphold safety and compliance by supporting chemical audits, calculating stock levels, and following COMAH requirements.

• Carry out 5S and continuous improvement activities, planned inspections, and risk assessments.

• Operate equipment such as FLTs, cranes, lifting gear, and support effluent plant/boiler house operations (training provided).

Candidate skills & requirements

What you'll bring

• Strong organisational skills and confidence working with SAP or similar stock management systems.

• Understanding of safe storage, handling, and administration of chemicals, or willingness to learn through provided training.

• A commitment to health, safety, and regulatory compliance, including FOD and COMAH awareness.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers, with clear and reliable communication.

• Flexibility, motivation, and a continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on accuracy and safe working practices.
