Job description

 Responsible to manage Bombardier Change Board agendas, record minutes, track actions, maintain the Change Board file that tracks all active and historical changes and liaise with IPT members.

 Coordinate the completion of Safran Landing Systems Change Management Process steps using required tools and provide technical support or assist in the creation of ‘CR' (Change Requests) and ‘PR' (Problem Reports)) forms and all change management documents (Safran Landing Systems or Bombardier).

 Act as Program focal point in support of Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation.

 Coordinate activities in completion of initial reviews of the changes and participate actively in Bombardier change management/ engineering coordination meetings.

 Support Programs / Commercial by gathering costs associated with changes and ensure the associated cost impact is reflected within the Bombardier cost model.

 Support Programs in the coordination of cost reduction initiatives.

 Responsible to complete and provide Bombardier, De Havilland, MHI and Gulfstream documentation related to Change Management as requested within the timeframe specified.

 Responsible for coordinating IPT meetings between SLS and Customer Change Management teams.

 Facilitate APQP assessments on critical changes.

 Manage existing and future improvement projects or Customer driven initiatives within Safran Landing Systems with strict deadlines and performance goals.

 Support Program Manager's readiness for Customer meetings.

 Update Customer and Internal reports as required.

 Assist with NA Programs procedure updates/creation.

 Support Program Managers on multiple subjects as required.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the individual will work with the Bombardier, De Havilland, CRJ and GIV Program team and be responsible for Configuration Change Management, Projects and Special Assignments as assigned by the Program Manager.

Candidate skills & requirements

Skills and Core Competencies:

• Solid organizational and time management skills, detail oriented, diligent, thorough and accurate.

• Ability to change focus quickly and adapt to changing priorities.

• Proven team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication and listening skills.

• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills to drive actions to closure.

• Confidence to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to train and host meetings with individuals at various business levels representing different departments.

• Ability to understand various procedures and processes

Education and/or Certifications:

• Business or Engineering University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent

Specialized Knowledge:

• Excellent working knowledge on all Microsoft Office applications & PowerBI.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production flows.

• Basic knowledge of PMP and business administration principles.

• SAP/PLM experience is an asset.

• Basic APQP knowledge is an asset.

• Basic Engineering knowledge is an asset
