Join Us as a Pipe Fabricator

Precision matters—and in this role, you'll be at the heart of producing high-quality landing gear pipes. From CNC bending and hydraulic fitting swaging to pressure testing, you'll ensure every component meets strict standards for quality, safety, and performance. You'll also support assembly operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and excellence.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and install tools, measuring equipment, and control stations for production.

• Load CNC programs and configure equipment settings to meet production requirements.

• Operate machinery to perform bending and fabrication processes, carrying out intermediate checks for accuracy.

• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with geometric tolerances and quality standards.

• Support improvement projects to enhance product quality and reduce production time.

Candidate skills & requirements

What you'll bring

• A Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 qualification.

• Strong understanding of pipe manufacturing processes and fabrication principles.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test instructions.

• Knowledge of quality tools such as 5S and Lean/6-Sigma, with a commitment to FOD compliance.

• Experience with CNC programming is an advantage, alongside proficiency in dimensional inspection.
