Senior Program Manager m/w/d

Job description

-Lead end-to-end scoping, planning, implementation, and monitoring of large, complex programs for the development of innovative Aircraft Interior Connectivity solutions.
-Interface and coordinate with stakeholders across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
-Coordinate Go-to-Market strategy and product launches for different solutions.
-Develop detailed project plans, resource estimates, timelines, and deliverables for the overall program. Track progress with related Project/Workstream Managers and adjust timelines and resources as needed.
-Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles to successful program execution and develop mitigation plans to ensure program goals are met. Escalate gaps versus targets at the appropriate level and in a timely manner.
-Facilitate decision-making and team cohesion: guide the team in making informed decisions, provide necessary resources, and foster a collaborative environment.
-Ensure compliance with Safran standards as well as aerospace industry and regulatory requirements.
-Drive customer reviews, technical milestone assessments, and phase-gate processes.

Desired profile

-Master's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
-8+ years of experience in technical project/program management, ideally in aeronautics, aerospace, or automotive industries.
-Willingness to travel for project needs.
-Strong experience managing cross-functional teams, with deep understanding of engineering (Software, Cybersecurity, Electronics…), industrialization, and program management processes.
-Excellent project management skills, including effective management of timelines, resources, and budgets.
-Financial acumen and understanding of program financial management.
-Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (German a plus), with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
-Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Preferred: PMP, IPMA, or PRINCE2 certification.
