Job description
We're looking for a dynamic IT Application Project Manager to lead the delivery of application projects across the Actuation Systems Group. This role sits at the intersection of IT governance, risk management, and structured testing, operating within a regulated aerospace environment where control, assurance, and delivery discipline are critical.
You'll be accountable for ensuring application projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to plan—while working with multiple stakeholders across sites and functions.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT application projects across the Group
• Apply and maintain strong project governance, aligned to internal and regulatory requirements
• Own risk, issue, and dependency management, escalating appropriately
• Define and manage testing and release activities, ensuring readiness for go-live
• Maintain clear, audit-ready project documentation and reporting
• Work closely with IT, Quality, Cyber, Engineering, and business teams to ensure aligned delivery
• Provide clear status updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Essential skills:
• Demonstrable experience managing IT application projects
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, and testing in regulated environments
• Experience working across multiple teams or sites
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable skills:
• Experience in aerospace, defence, or other highly regulated industries
• Exposure to enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, PLM, MES)
• Project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or similar)
