Job description
Logistics Intern will help the Supply Chain department with continuous improvement projects
Summary of Duties:
• Optimize stock locations to save time in picking
• Update the ERP according to the new locations
• Create, review and revise logistics Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and General Procedures
• Work on organizing logistics over a five-year horizon and propose a new layout.
• Assist with inventory management and procuring if needed
• Participate in other continuous improvement projects if needed
Candidate skills & requirements
Education: Actively enrolled in an undergraduate degree program as a junior or senior level student.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with safe operation of basic hand tools and equipment
• Acquire an understanding manufacturing, quality and other industrial processes through on the job training
• Attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• Industrial lifting capacity
Annual salary
USD 39,520 - 45,760 / 19-22 per hour
