Job description

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Maintenance documentation:

o Analyze Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and identify associated repair needs

o Consider these needs into repair referential (Repair procedures, etc.)

o Support/Train technicians in accordance with the necessary updates (CMM, process, etc.)

o Lead initiatives to implement necessary technical changes

o Be the focal point for technical writers who oversee repair's documentation and support services to MRO, such as Technical Direction or Quality (review before publication)

o Use knowledge and expertise to support Production Team with critical deliverables such as

 the industrial folder eg Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Routing, Standardized work instructions

 Assist in Engineering queries to OEM / PSE team and provide avenues for escalation or urgent communication

• Deployment of EIS (Entry Into Services) / industrialization of new products:

o Define the means to be used to ensure the industrialization of new products, in compliance with specifications and Quality Cost Delivery/safety/environmental requirements

o Review repair capability applications customized to affected PNs & CMMs, scope of work and relevant airworthiness authorities' requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, CONT'D

o Use knowledge and expertise to support Production Team with critical industrials deliverables such as

 production processes as required for the products

 new production lines and associated layouts

 tools, tooling and test equipment

o Support continuous improvement of processes, methods, and manufacturing tools within the company

 Participate actively to define, optimize, and supervise the deployment of standardized "business" work methods to be applied by employees in their positions

• Support the flow / the production line :

o Provide permanent technical support & expertise to the Production Lines (Customer queries / investigations related to field & service issues)

o Participate actively & Supporting 8D projects & methodology in collaboration with Quality / CI Managers

o Lead or Participate to the implementation of new production equipment (depending on complexity)

• Manage Tooling & Production means Calibration& Maintenance :

o Calibration monitoring of certain resources, maintenance of resources (test benches; equipment)

o Line Toolings (calibration / maintenance) management. Including calibration process, specific checks, compliance with regulation.

o Review tooling calibration discrepancies to assess their impact to continue usage & existing repair work.

o Take part with Supply Chain in determining calibration requirements & vendors service adherence to Safran Quality requirement.

o TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Implementation: Lead the implementation of TPM principles and methodologies to o

b) Education and/or experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in general engineering or mechanical engineering

• 3 + years of competency areas (repair, project management, quality, etc.), particularly in the engineering and/or industrialization field

c) Communication Skills

• Good oral and written communication skills essential for interaction with both internal and external customers.

• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

• Fluency in English – written and spoken
