Job description
1 Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports, forecasts, and presentations to support management decision-making.
2 Organize and summarize large datasets using Excel; review data for errors and promptly address queries related to financial and deal information.
3 Support annual budgeting, monthly re-forecasting, and cost tracking processes, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to business units and proper classification of expenses
4 Monitor and analyze expenses, identify variances, and provide insights to support cost control and efficiency
5 Create and lead the development of autonomous (automated) financial reports, and coordinate with related parties to expand and improve autonomous reporting capabilities.
6 Monitor and summarize costs per product line, track project budgets, and provide budget tracking for business.
7 Review and monitor balance sheet and cash flow statements to ensure entries are accurate and recorded on time
8 Review and maintain standard cost setup to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational and financial objectives.
9 Manage CAPEX requests, monitor CAPEX spending, and ensure all asset expenditures are properly booked.
10 Work closely with operational teams to support business projects and drive cost improvement initiatives across functions.
11 Assist with time reporting, expense control, and regular updates to tracking and ad hoc reports.
12 Support ERP transaction activities, including monitoring key distribution order dates and addressing customer service or planning needs
13 Ensure compliance with internal controls, Safran's financial policies, and accounting standards
14 Support special projects and additional tasks for the BU Controller, General Manager, and management team as needed.
Candidate skills & requirements
1 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) is a plus.
2 Proven 2-5 years working experience in financial analysis in manufacturing industry is an advantage.
3 Strong business acumen and analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
4 Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced use of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI).
5 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6 High self-initiative and strong reliability.
7 Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
8 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work well under pressure, and contribute effectively as a team player
