An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading bank in Romania and Southeast Europe, known for its strong market presence and innovative digital services. Established in 1994, this bank serves millions of customers through a vast branch network and has a history of strategic acquisitions and a commitment to entrepreneurship. We are looking for a Enterprise Architect Cards Domain to join this organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and establish a common set of principles and goals concerning the Enterprise Architecture E2E to achieve the right balance between IT efficiency and business benefits for cards domain
- Establish and archive a Wide Enterprise Framework based on TOGAF principles and methodologies
- Establish and maintain the Enterprise Architecture Capability and Operational Entity for cards domain
- Lead the development of the Enterprise Architecture Plans and Work to be aligned with the ICT Strategy and ICT Governance on Cards Domain
- Lead the Enterprise Architecture Compliance Reviews in close collaboration with all the ICT Divisions on cards domain
- Lead the Enterprise Architecture Board and member of the Change Advisory Board for cards domain
- Assess existing card processing systems and identify areas for optimization, innovation, and risk mitigation
- Design and oversee the development of secure and scalable architectures for card issuance, payment processing, fraud detection, and transaction management
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in payment cards, EMV standards, digital wallets, and contactless payments to maintain competitive positioning
- Establish governance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., PCI-DSS) and adherence to architecture standards
Requirements
- Relevant ICT skills and expertise that may include enterprise architect frameworks like TOGAF and Zachman
- Strong skills and expertise in distributed systems
- Familiar with tools, techniques and frameworks like UML, BPMN, ArchiMate
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate Information Systems and determine trends
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and technology partners
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect focusing on the cards domain
- In-depth knowledge of card processing systems, technologies (e.g., EMV, chip cards), and industry standards
- Familiarity with regulations affecting card payments (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and their implications for architecture design
- Familiarity with cloud computing and its implications for card services
- Good command of Microsoft Office Suite
