Please note prior to applying that this is a fixed-term position with an employment agreement through Q1/Q2 2025. Official dates will be finalized during the interview and offer process. This is a benefits eligible position for the duration of the agreement, specifically with access to our healthcare plan (medical/dental) and other programs within our benefits package.  

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the 3rd party warehouses, co packers and transfer stations. The primary focus of this position is to ensure the continuity of the supply chain.

Essential Functions

·  Manage, monitor and communicate the performance of RAI 3rd party warehouses and co-packers to ensure these meet Roquette standards for operational quality and service.
·  Serve as a point person for exception resolution between 3rd party warehouses, transfer stations, co-packers and RAI.
·  Assist in audit of warehouse, transfer station and co-packer invoices ensuring accuracy in detail
·  Support 3rd parties and RAI through receipt, shipment and inventory control issues

Secondary Functions

·  Manage and develop processes and relationships with outbound Third Party 3rd party providers.
·  Support internal customer projects involving warehousing, repackaging and product transfers.
·  Issue Purchase Orders (POs) for 3rd party warehouses, transfer stations and co-packers, as needed.
·  Assist in training 3rd party warehouse, co-packer and transfer station personnel on new SAP based ERP system

Required Competencies, Education and Experience

·  Must be able to work independently and with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and develop preventive actions.
·  Must have effective written and oral communication skills pursuant to effective customer service.
·  Must have the ability to exercise independent judgment while adhering to company policies.
·  Must have critical thinking ability and strong analytical skills.
·  Must be well-organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
·  Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. CICS/SAP experience; preferred.3+ yrs experience in relatable processing operations preferred

Education & Skills

·  High School Diploma or equivalent.
·  Relevant experience in a related field.
·  5+ years’ experience warehouse operations.
·  3+ years account payables/receipts
·  Strong organizational ability.
