Quality Assurance Manager
What We Need
The successful candidate will be highly responsible, detail oriented, motivated, and a self-starter with a broad understanding of food safety, quality control and quality systems. In addition, this individual will possess the ability to effectively communicate and develop professional relationships with internal and external parties.
This position will require collaborative work with cross functional groups including Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing, Vendors and Customers.

What You'll Do
· Quality Assurance Programs Management:
· Oversee Roquette's Quality Assurance programs for manufacturing operations related to human food and animal feed production.
· Ensure compliance with FDA and GMP standards, implement HACCP, and manage documentation, complaint investigation, non-conformance investigation, and technical support related to Quality.
· Vendor Quality Management:
· Manage vendor quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
· Program Design and Implementation:
· Design, develop, and implement QA management and food safety programs.
· Collaboration:
· Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Purchasing, Vendors, and Customers.
· Analysis and Problem Solving:
· Conduct statistical analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
What You'll Need
· BS degree in a chemistry, food science or related technical field.
· 10 years of Quality Assurance management experience in the food or pharma industry
· Thorough understanding of FSMA for human food and animal feed (PCQI certification is a plus)
· This position may require up to 10% business travel.
Work Environment:
This position works 95% of the time inside; 5% of the time is spent outside. Occasionally this position requires working with hazards, extreme heat/cold; humidity, heights, exposure to dust, fumes and gasses.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Physical demands of this position include repetitive use of hands and arms. Individual must be able to talk, hear, see, and distinguish colors. Individual must be able to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require weekend work.
