Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
· Provide technical expertise in process development supporting global protein business strategy
· Create and execute short term and long term technology projects through internal development and external collaboration
· Develop and conduct process trials (lab, pilot, and production) to improve and optimize current process
· Contribute to a highly scientific, market focus, and collaborative R&D organization
· Contribute to a safe and environmentally friendly workplace
Position Qualifications:
· BS in chemical engineering, chemistry, or equivalent. MS and PhD preferable
· Min 3 years industrial experience in vegetable protein process and product development
· Demonstrated at least one of the following expertise: vegetable protein extraction, corn wet milling, corn mycotoxin, based on experience and broad scientific & technological watch
· Demonstrated hands on experience of pilot and industrial scale unit operations and equipment
· Proficient in mass balance, process design and cost estimation
· Domestic and international travel (up to 30%) required

Position Summary:
Nutrition development supporting global nutrition strategy and protein business
Position Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain nutrition science network in Americas region
· Define and coordinate nutrition studies in America region supporting global nutrition strategy and compliance of regional regulatory needs
· Establish market and customer intelligence to identify needs for protein nutrition study and claims
· Present Nutrition benefits of Roquette product and clinic study to regional customers
· Provide training to regional internal and external customers

Position Qualifications:
· MS, PhD preferable, in nutrition, biochemistry, biology, or equivalent.
· Min 3 years industrial hands on experience in nutrition or analytical of vegetable protein
· Demonstrated expertise in protein quality, bioactivity, and clinic study protocol preparation
· Demonstrated record in broad scientific & technological watch and external collaboration
· Demonstrated capability in project generation, coordination and execution, as well as knowledge in intellectual property
· US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status Required.
