Global Customer Support (GCS) is the global organization responsible for technical services in Roche Diagnostics Division. Approximately 500 GCS co-workers are building a worldwide network of support and training centers, which provide assistance to local and regional service staff (5'000 employees) in the Roche Diagnostics affiliates and its external distributors.

Within GCS, we are looking to hire a Workflow & IT Solutions Global Implementation Expert (product in scope: cobas infinity). The key responsibilities in this role include:

Pre-sales phase:

·  Support local, regional or global consultancy team in tender processes
·  Supports on request with demos and expertise on Lab organization
·  Creates concepts for workflow, lab organization and connectivity
·  Implementation phase:
·  Assess and optimize customer workflow together with country representative
·  Supports the countries with:
·  Installation requirements
·  Installation and upgrade planning
·  Installation of IT solution, instruments and hosts connection and verifies connectivity together with local or regional representatives
·  Configuration / Testing
·  Customer trainings
·  First level support
·  Acts a subject matter expert for local support (lab process and IT solution)

Product life cycle:

·  Provides customer project expertise to the Product Definition Team
·  Supports the product life cycle by improving Product serviceability

To be successful in this role, you need to bring:

·  Bachelor degree in IT or education as Lab Technician with IT background for several years or equivalent professional work experience
·  Experience in Lab Organization (Medical Lab Technician, Lab Manager) and Hospital, IT Networks, Interfaces and Database
·  Strong communication skills and proficiency in verbal and written English is essential
·  Explicit problem solving attitude as well as experience with working in a customer oriented way in an interdisciplinary environment
·  Willingness to travel (up to 80%) mainly in EMEA, but also worldwide
·  Independent, proactive and versatile working approach, but also acting as a Team Player in a global team
·  Experience in networking, tcpip, firewall configurations.
·  Software Development experience in similar products (optional)
