Infrastructure Services VMO provides consultancy to the service owners and teams. This includes all aspects of supporting RfI and RfP processes, creation and negotiation of contracts and finally supporting the governance throughout the contract lifecycle. The scope includes all areas of Infrastructure Services related 3rd party contracts (HW, SW, Services) in the technology areas of data centers, network, cloud, Application integration (database, middleware), telephony, engineering.
The intention is to take into consideration the operational and commercial aspects of the signed contracts while also working in close collaboration with the procurement organization.
You will bring
·
10 years of experience in IT business from which 5 years in the commercial side of the IT
·
IT operational background, service management
·
Able to build compelling business cases
·
The leadership of large scale contract negotiations, involving setup, analysis of positions, development of Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement (BATNA)
·
Experience in the resolution of contractual disputes
·
Commercial experience in drafting robust contracts covering pricing, SLA, penalty regime, clearly defined deliverables, transition and exit statements.
·
Knowledge of obligations management
·
Knowledge of differences in contracting possibilities for different jurisdictions, i.e. Contracts written in USA can have different approach and terms than contracts written in Spain.

Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure contracting
·
Knowledge and compliance requirements in the Pharmaceutical industry, GDPR and data protection laws
·
Knowledge of maintenance agreements and Software licensing
·
Knowledge of basic financial concepts, P&L statements, Capitalization, NPV.
·
Business administration skills at Bachelor or Masters level
·
Good understanding of project management methodologies
·
Procurement and payment processes and budgeting and accounting principles
·
Collaboration with Vendors and in-house business support functions
·
Knowledge of the Supplier landscape (who are the main players for different types of services)
·
Willing to travel frequently
Interpersonal skills:
·
Self-motivated and able to communicate the business case benefits
·
Able to lead and work in global virtual teams but also work in a supporting role and achieve mutually agreed goals
Language skills:
·
English legal and business language skills (mandatory)
·
Spanish and/or German would be beneficial
