The position
Here is a great opportunity to join the Training group within Product development (PDG) for a period of 12 months.
We are recruiting for a 1 year fixed term contract Training Manager to work within the Training group who are responsible for identifying cross-functional training needs, design, development and delivery/facilitation of training solutions in relation to Systems and System-related Processes.
As a PDG Training Manager you will be apply solid instructional design methodology, including adult learning theory, interactive activities, and competency-based the training is value added and research, design, deliver and promote global training solutions in alignment with business objectives and audience requirements – You will also collaborate effectively with cross functional training departments, system owners, implementation leaders and supports specialists. Depending on your experience, you may be required to manage more complex / high priority training programmes and / or oversee the work of more junior training staff.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Work closely with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to provide training expertise. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of PDG training solutions (i.e. using Kirkpatrick's Levels 1-4, KPI and ROI methodology) and ensure they meet the needs of a clinically-regulated environment
• Assess and implement agreed training enhancement requests from end users and manage change control of training material in collaboration with the training management team
• Create new training materiel in alignment with industry standards such as ADDIE
• Perform Learning Needs Analysis for PDG staff
• Oversee vendor identification, assessment and management for appropriate use of resources to design and/or deliver training programmes.
• Deliver user training or system demonstration in group and individual sessions (including web casts)
• Perform Train the Trainer sessions as needed
You are a committed individual and exceptional facilitator, presenter and communicator with ideally with sufficient knowledge of Clinical Operations, Clinical Trial Management and knowledge of ICH/GCP.
You will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in Science, Education, Business, or related discipline and significant experience as an instructional designer or trainer with specific experience in e-learning course development required.
Experience in training development (Captivate, Snag-It, etc) is preferred with knowledge of clinical information systems (Quantum, CTMS, EDC) being essential. You will also be familiar with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle, as well as strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
You will have a proven understanding of learning principles/methodologies and a solid understanding of how adults learn as well as experience using a training design/development process (i.e. ADDIE or equivalent) and its application in a complex business environment.
Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
