Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join one of our teams in Roche Polska within the Roche Informatics division.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Significant experience related to software development in enterprise projects/products

  • Experienced in product development with Scrum methodologies in Scaled Agile

  • Extended knowledge regarding testing processes (experience as a test lead will be highly desirable); knowledge about test automation tools/frameworks like Selenium, WebDriver or Protractor, SoapUI or REST Assured, JUnit or TestNG

  • Excellent knowledge of test results reporting and presenting them to the team

  • Good knowledge and experience in implementing test automation in big scale projects

  • Good knowledge about test automation of REST API and Swagger. Ability to understand/define API contracts, and understanding of Consumer Contract concept

  • Good knowledge about JavaScript programming (basic understanding of frameworks such as AngularJS, React, Node.js) with good HTML5, CSS3 knowledge 

  • Basic understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Containers, microservice architectures, principles, and patterns

  • Strong focus on understanding business processes and their connection with developed solution functionalities

  • Good communication skills, team player, work under tight deadlines, good mentoring

  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, debugging, optimization and analytical skills

Your key responsibilities:

 

Cooperate with internal partners in the scope of presenting and discussing the status of product quality and quality improvement. Your tasks include interpreting business cases, preparing appropriate testing approach based on analysis of functional and technical requirements, supporting the design of testing frameworks and metrics, estimating the individual scope and time-consumption of work. You will be also responsible for supporting technical teams, in scope of quality assurance/validation tasks, test case creation and execution.

  • Salary range 15 000 - 21 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract (Umowa o pracę)
