The job responsibility within the Biological Technologies group in Analytical Development and Quality Control, is to develop, validate, and troubleshoot biochemical/immunochemical and cell-based assays in support of clinical and to-be-marketed products. The candidate will collaborate with research and other Pharma Technical Development groups to develop novel cell based assays for products with complex mechanisms of action. In addition, the candidate will be expected to perform some testing as needed in support of process development and product characterization. Responsibilities may also include routine lab maintenance, writing test procedures, SOPs, protocols, technical reports, and summarizing/presenting data. Additional responsibilities may include the presentation of data at internal and external meetings, as well as reports in support of IND/BLA regulatory filings, and supporting collaborations with other groups/sites

Requirements:

PhD in Biological Sciences, immunology, or related fields with in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of cell biology. >2+ years of experience including postdoctoral and industry experience is required. The Candidate must have demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team, handle multiple projects, demonstrate initiative, strong attention to details, with effective verbal and written communication skills are a must. The Candidate must have hands-on experience in the development, performance, and troubleshooting of biochemical/immunochemical and cell-based assays. FACS and Molecular biology skills are good to have. GLP or GMP familiarity/knowledge is a plus but not required.
