Teamlead Technical Supplier Management

The department Technical Supplier Management is part of Global Operations in Rotkreuz, who ensures the delivery of critical healthcare products to people around the world.

As a teamlead technical supplier management you are responsible for the sustainable material availability, quality and cost structure through the adequate technical management of external suppliers and internal departments involved.

Together with your team (8) you will:

· 
Manage a strong supplier relationship management with key supplier as well as set and support the deployment of lean manufacturing by influencing suppliers to meet improvement goals

· 
Ensure continuous improvement of quality, compliance, costs, and availability of material from Suppliers – manage improvement programs with suppliers

· 
Ensure the correct regulatory procurement documentation including the purchasing specifications (TDC) and further relevant regulatory documents, such as Process Risk Analysis

· 
Align the QMS system of the supplier with the QMS system of RDI and lead transfer projects according to the divisional standard

· 
Be responsible for the successful implementation of the Supplier Operations projects such as Process changes (without adjustment Spec), construction of manufacturing capacities or improve the quality and efficiency

· 
Be responsible for the technical evaluation of suppliers within the Supplier Evaluation Process and ensure that supplier using State of the art manufacturing processes

· 
Be responsible for the Know How management of manufacturing processes in the scope of the responsible technologies and for DfX (Design for Manufacturing, Testing, etc.) during product development in close cooperation with the suppliers and the product development – gatekeeper for approval of the design according to DQM

To be successful in this role you fulfill the following criteria:

· 
University degree in engineering or related domain

· 
Advanced project management know-how and strong communication skills

· 
High degree of awareness to cost and quality and experience in the field of the medical device industry

· 
Strong leadership skills as demonstrated through performance or based on previous positions of leadership

· 
Proven interpersonal skills to work effectively with and/or manage internal stakeholders, external business partners, suppliers and cross-functional, cross-cultural project teams across multiple locations

· 
Initiative, self-assertion and negotiations skills with internal as well as external partners as well as analytical and structured problem-solving skills and strategic and integrated/systemic thinking

· 
Experience in change management and excellent written and verbal communication skills, written and spoken fluency in German and English
