The Summer @ Roche Intern Program has been developed to provide students with a fun yet rewarding summer through hands-on experience and numerous opportunities to network with other interns as well as employees in the organization. Additionally, we help our students meet their career development and educational goals while potentially building a future with the Roche organization. Leveraging the education you received already, we hope to give you an opportunity to grow and develop with us!
Join the Roche Sequencing Solutions Development Process & Support Team! Help us build a better internal process and lab support infrastructure to for our research and development scientists. Assignments could include:
· Creating and managing an internal customer support portal / Kanban board to improve our efficiency
· Participate in the feasibility evaluation of a customized software tool used by system engineers in the development of diagnostic products (e.g. requirements management software)
· Develop test cases and challenge the functionality of internally used software tools to ensure business needs are met
· Perform computerized system and method validations
· Present findings in written reports and presentations
· Create and update training material for IVD product development processes
Qualifications:
· Enrolled in accredited college or university Bachelor's or Master's degree program with GPA > 3.0
· Major in Engineering, Software, Biology, Chemistry, Business, Quality engineering, or other related disciplines
· Attention to detail, Ability to develop and follow a methodical approach
· Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Opportunities / Skills to Learn:
· Understanding of product development practices in an IVD diagnostics business
