The Market Access Trainee position is based at Roche Centralized and Point of Care Solutions (CPS) in Rotkreuz, Switzerland. The candidate will have broad cross-functional involvement in demonstrating and communicating product value propositions by supporting Market Access Manager(s) / Head of Market Access. During the internship you will support Market Access Manager(s) / Head of Market Access to achieve and maintain rapid patient access for Roche CPS products on appropriate prices and reimbursement (if required) by demonstrating and communicating product value to payers.

Your main responsibilities are:

·  Conduct pricing/reimbursement data research & analysis
·  Run scientific literature research
·  Monitor trends in IVD pricing/reimbursement/HTA environment
·  Preparation of various presentations, reports and background materials
·  Manage market access internal communication channels (home page, social media)
·  Collaborate closely with relevant teams/functions on global, regional and affiliate level
·  Maintain high standard and level of knowledge and understanding regarding scientific, clinical and commercial developments in the specific diagnostic/disease area(s) of assignment.

You are currently enrolled in a postgraduate program (or graduated within 12 months) and have demonstrated an outstanding academic track record. Throughout your studies you should have obtained knowledge of health economics, life sciences, public health, public policy, health policy, market access, finance, business or marketing disciplines.

You must be willing to go the extra mile and fulfill folloring additional requirements:

·  Your degree is in a relevant scientific field for example Previous internship(s) in international, corporate environment and preferably in life sciences
·  Medium-high level of understanding the global healthcare, policy, pricing, reimbursement and HTA environment
·  Strong communication and presentation skills.
·  Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams in complex matrix organization.
·  Proficient knowledge of MS Office tools and high proficiency in social media
·  Fluent written and oral English knowledge, German knowledge is a plus
