The GPP Finance team as business partner to the GPP organization is responsible for controlling the respective GPP functional budgets, providing decision support (i.e. for contract negotiations, renewals and financial health assessments with suppliers), supporting the Care 4 Cash initiative (C4C), as well as controlling of the cross-divisional Procurement Process Projects (PPP).
As an intern in the GPP Finance group your main tasks will include:
· Support Finance team during the main forecast events
· Compilation of monthly financial reports
· Provide decision-relevant information and drive business-case analysis with partners
· Ad-hoc analysis and reporting for C4C, Savings and other procurement metrics
· Contribute to Procurement and Pharma Finance projects

You are an enrolled student in a Bachelor or preferred Master program in Finance or Economics.

Specific competencies required:
· Strong analytical skills and a vivid interest in Finance
· Outstanding motivation and willingness to continuously learn

· Fluency in written and spoken English
· Robust financial understanding of Income Statement, Cash Flows and Balance Sheet
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office standard applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint); Experience with SAP ERP and Business Warehouse solutions are a plus
