As a Solution Architect, you will be part of an amazing team tasked with the Product Development domain. The Product Development, Approval and License Maintenance Domain provides the strategic, stakeholder and business connection for Informatics products and services specifically required for the end-to-end development, approval, and maintenance of Roche products or solutions, improving Patient/Investigator experience and getting the product to the patients faster. You will be working to provide platforms and capabilities for aggregating, managing and automating data and content generation. The products in this line will enable Informatics and business teams across the domain to access high-quality fair data and content, that combined with optimized processes will enable us to achieve the 2030 vision.
Your key responsibilities:
Design solutions according to enterprise standards
Conduct an architecture review of currently existing solutions to ensure continuous improvement
Research, evaluate, and create proof of concepts to adopt new technologies
Design non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and code
Keep up to date on new industry and emerging technologies which can provide advantages and groundbreaking innovations & benefit the business
Drive the identification of the most appropriate solution for Roche through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ (Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation) processes
Evaluate the feasibility of potential solutions in collaboration with business users and Subject Matter Experts
Seek opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes
Architect, build, maintain, and operate enterprise-grade systems/applications
Your qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with 5-12 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization
At least 3 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be considered an asset
Experience in a product development domain would be beneficial
Knowledge about Snowflake/data concepts/data products would be considered an asset
Experience with SAFe or any other lean-agile framework would be considered an asset
Strong communication skills
Negotiation skills, long-term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs
Teamwork and fast integration into bigger teams
Experience in working in a multicultural and international environment
Advanced English skills
We work in a flexible hybrid model. This role can be based in Warsaw/Poznan (Poland) or Mississauga (Canada).
