The Position

Software Engineers in Test (more than 2 years experience) joining our scrum teams will build software that tests software either by coding or integrating third party tools into our test suites. The test role requires you to have a strong focus on robust and reliable applications in and out its explicit intended use. Thus you are expected to play a role in managing and understanding design aspects of the software solutions.

Main responsibilities

· 
Build software that tests software either by coding or by integrating third party tools into our test suites

· 
Compose, execute and assess results of functional and non-functional tests according to the defined by the Test Strategy

· 
Configuring and managing Test Environments

· 
Reviewing requirements and specifications documentation to ensure clarity and testability

· 
Plan, execute, evaluate and document system tests.

· 
Identify and manage issues and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

Required skills

· 
Educated to degree level in Bachelor, Diploma, Master of Science or equivalent technical education in Engineering, Maths or Physics

· 
Proven experience in software development (Java, C#, Javascript, GIT, TFS)

· 
Proven experience in software testing tools (Selenium, JUnit, NUnit)

· 
Experience in software life cycle management tools (TFS, Jira, HP ALM)

· 
Solution oriented mindset: proactivity in trouble-shooting

· 
Good communication skills

· 
Good attention to the details

· 
Fluent in spoken English

The following skills would be a plus

· 
Proven experience using BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Specflow, Serenity)

· 
Experience in Devops tools (Jenkins, Gradle, Maven)

· 
Experience in Dockers

· 
Experience in Virtualization Platforms (VMWare)

· 
Experience in Cloud and Mobile Testing

· 
Acquainted with agile development practices (especially Scrum)

· 
Practical work experience in laboratory diagnostics software

· 
Experience on software non-functional testing. Deep knowledge onperformance testing

· 
Acquaintance with software communication protocols

· 
Solution oriented mindset: proactivity in trouble-shooting

· 
Certification in software testing (i.e.: ISTQB certified tester, CAT certified agile tester, etc.)
