Job Mission

You will work in close partnership with your colleagues in the Business Excellence chapter to provide key operational support to the approximately 550 colleagues in the Pharmaceutical Sciences organization. Our focus is to generate an impact on PS productivity with a sense of urgency. 

You and the other Business Excellence Chapter members will co-create work systems and practices, to continually improve our support for the Pharmaceutical Sciences Organization. The success of the team will be your success. (Temporary position for 2 years)

Your Impact

  • As Shipment Coordinator for Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS), you organize, document and monitor Test items, formulation and sample shipments from PS to CROs and third parties.

  • You provide assistance and advice to study monitors regarding sample shipments to, from and between CROs.

  • You collect and distribute shipment-related study documents and update tracking databases accordingly.

  • You serve as a contact person for the biology Electronic Laboratory Notebook requests for Pharmaceutical Sciences.

  • You are the single point of contact and responsible person for CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) process at Roche for Basel: operationally responsible for obtaining CITES permits (export/import) for external study sample transfers, and study documentation completeness.

  • You are the responsible person for our PS Shipment requests tool.

  • You are strongly collaborating with the PS Lab Managers, the Central Lab Supply team, the pRED Shiping Network and Site Logistics

Your Profile

  • You bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and have a deep understanding and knowledge of laboratory operations and processes, and knowledge of the GLP working environment. 

  • Ideally, you have previous experience with CITES import/export process for in Vivo study samples and are digitally savvy.

  • You are proficient in German and English.
