The Position:
As a Scientist (m/f/d), Case Investigation & Resolution (CIR) you are responsible for the fast and competent processing, answering and documentation of individual product issues.
CIR, a part of Roche Quality, is the global organization accountable for the handling and processing of customer complaints and technical inquiries in the Diagnostics Division.
The Team:
The CIR-department Custom Biotech, Biochemical Reagents and Nucleic Acid Purification/qPCR belongs to Global Quality. A high diversity of professional experience as well as the education background of the team members characterize our team. All of us foster a personal network to different stakeholders within Roche (e.g. Research and Development, Product Management, Production and Quality Control) and the local service and support organizations. We organize our work packages independently and make decisions as required. Open communication and a trustful collaboration is the key for our team.
Your responsibilities:

In this context, you will mainly handle product quality and product performance issues as well as inquires, taking into account the requirements of the sales organizations, regulatory authorities and the ISO quality system within the responsible product line.

You will ensure an efficient execution of necessary investigations, root cause analysis and guide the related troubleshooting steps. If applicable, you initiate a timely communication of quality-relevant product information to the sales- and local support organizations and keep relevant product documentation up to date.

To ensure successful completion of an audit or official inspection you are responsible for the correct and always traceable documentation of the processed issues.
·
Additionally, your expertise is required to analyze and evaluate product quality based on current data, including creating and presenting statistics/trend analyses and problem descriptions. If needed you will initiate and support the introduction of product improvements.

In addition, you have the following competencies:

You have successfully completed your college degree majoring in biology/chemistry/biochemistry or a similar profession, ideally with a background in qPCR.
·
You have acquired professional experience in the diagnostics/research field and have been able to attain knowledge of regulatory requirements and IVD standards
·
You enjoy working in a client and business-focused way and you are familiar with the various regulatory provisions and quality requirements especially in the complaint environment
·
You are using your analytical and solution-oriented approach, negotiation skills and ability to work with others to solve issues
·
Your enthusiasm to work with people of other cultures is also an advantage
·
You have the ability to deal appropriately with frequently changing priorities and you are distinguished by a high level of flexibility
·
You can communicate and write in English fluently as case processing and communication within our network is exclusively in English
·
You have excellent communication skills and can negotiate and influence issues in the matrix in a very effective manner
·
Approx. up to 10-15% of your job involves travel
