In the context of Roche Postdoctoral Fellowship program we are looking for an experienced scientist focusing on the identification and expansion of antigen specific T cells via immunological and biochemical means for application in cancer immunotherapy.
The Roche Postdoctoral Fellowship (RPF) program is aimed at supporting excellent young scientists focusing on collaborative R&D projects between Roche and international academic institutions. Both internal Roche and academic experts will mentor you, and you will be based mainly at Roche Innovation Centre Zurich, Switzerland. We are now looking for an extraordinary, highly motivated, and talented postdoctoral fellow to join our international team in an outstanding and competitive scientific environment. In this position you will:
· Be responsible for driving a project for the identication and expansion of antigen specific T cells via immunological and biochemical methods
· Apply your experience in tumor and/or T cell immunology and antibody based methods
This position requires
· A strong experience in in vitro/ex vivo T cell immunology, cell culture, flow cytometry, T cell assay
· Experience with T cell transfection/transduction and adoptive T cell therapy as well as biochemical methods is a plus
· A strong understanding and hands-on track record in immunology, experience in the field of tumor immunology is a plus

We are seeking a highly motivated immunologist, who possess strong experience in optical imaging of immune cells, excellent communication skills, enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams and does not bring more than 4 years of work experience after graduation.
· A PhD in biochemistry, biology, immunology or related field
· Sound knowledge of T cell immunology, flow cytometry
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, team player
· A high degree of self-motivation, flexibility and capacity to independently setup and conduct experiments
· A substantial track record of scientific publications as journal articles and conference talks
· Interest on working in a multidisciplinary and multinational environment, skills required to perform optimally in the imaging team
· A dedicated hands-on attitude and curiosity to establish innovative methods
· Fluency in spoken and written English
