Roche Diagnostics has built a new strategic area charged with creating a modern portfolio of decision support software products that change the way patients are cared for. Our challenge is to bring together complex diagnostic and treatment data from medical devices and IT systems within a hospital and intelligently process and present this data to clinicians, researchers, and caregivers to improve research outcomes and patient care. Would you like to become a part of this? We are searching for a R&D Collaborations Manager to support our Basel-based team.

Your main purpose would be to:

·  Work cross-functionally with all relevant partners across DIS and the broader Roche Group (e.g. Flatiron Health, FMI, Pharma PHC 2.0) to contribute to the further direction, development and implementation of the NAVIFY ecosystem
·  Generate & manage external partnerships with pilot, reference or KOL customers and/or partners to conclude and implement projects on behalf of DIS product development and other partners. Focus will be on such partners in Europe

Projects include:

·  Setting up pilots to test use cases, generate insights, and together with DIS partners iterate and evolve to adopt changes
·  Identifying and enabling capabilities to migrate pilots to routine use, collaborate (with stakeholders) to achieve launch of commercial products or product features
·  Collaborating with partners to define and pilot the associated business models and service offerings
·  Lead, or contribute to, strategic initiatives with internal and external partners, such as, Tumor Profiler (Initiative in CH), IRIS pilot sites in Europe, reference or pilot site projects (in Europe) and Shining Towers (as appropriate)

Your main job accountabilities will be:

·  Work with EMEA regional / customer success teams to identify and evaluate potential new partner sites for R&D product development projects
·  Manage end-to-end lifecycle of R&D Collaboration sites for NAVIFY product development (ex: Translational Research, Patient Pools, etc)
·  You will be the single point of contact at the partner site and handle stakeholder management between the partner and the DIS product development teams & engage in such relationship for the benefit of other Roche efforts
·  You'll act as a program manager to drive product development activities at the partner site
·  Produce clear outcomes through the pilot projects: 1) clinical outcomes that MSA team can use for publications/white papers, 2) product concepts that can be commercialized
·  Develop and cultivate a network of collaborators to support and participate in our initiatives

Who You are

To be successful in this role we believe you need 5+ years experience in leading multi-stakeholder projects, preferably for innovation projects, academic projects or similar. We're looking for someone with 3+ years experience of maintaining complex partner relationships and/or sales responsibility to complex buying institutions.

What else do you need in your toolbox?

·  You hold a Master's degree or equivalent. Favorably: Science, IT or Business degree
·  You are fluent in English, a second European Main language is desired
·  You have a proven history of working in broad diversity of cultural environments
·  You have shown ability to handle stakeholder relationships
·  You're a strong negotiator and influence others without authority
·  You're able to translate between customers and internal stakeholders to achieve value from partnerships
·  You have strong project management skills
