Role and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will report to the QC Team Lead and will be responsible for:

Performing Product QC testing according to standard procedures and within specified time frames.
·
Reporting on the results in the appropriate format.
·
Performing ad hoc testing as and when required for troubleshooting, investigation purposes and test method validation purposes.
·
Maintenance of selected pieces of equipment used for Product QC testing.
·
Maintenance of protocols and procedures used for Product QC testing.
·
Drive NCR/CAPA/CR process for QC and participate in investigations.
·
Perform testing for the routine monitoring of qualified systems.
·
Perform testing for the qualification of QC equipment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
·
Scientific degree or equivalent diploma in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related disciplines.
·
Experience in Molecular Biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR and next-generation sequencing.
·
An understanding of the concepts associated with Quality Control.
·
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required).
·
Experience in ISO quality management systems (ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485) will be advantageous.

The position requires an individual with the ability to multi-task, perform consistently in a high-pressure environment and work without supervision. Strong communication skills are required for this role to ensure that objectives are achieved and communicated to all stakeholders.
This position is a 12 month contract
